Cookie Policy

Template — not yet legal advice. This document accurately describes how Pleasure Compared works, but it has not been reviewed by a solicitor. Have it checked before you go live.
We keep cookies to a minimum. The site works fully with only essential cookies — choosing "Essential only" costs you nothing.
Essential cookies
These are needed to run the site and do not require your consent.
| Name | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
pleasure_compared_session |
Keeps you signed in and links your requests to your session | 2 hours |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Protects forms against cross-site request forgery | 2 hours |
cookie_consent (browser storage) |
Remembers your cookie choice so we stop asking | Until you clear it |
Analytics cookies
Only set if you choose "Accept all". They tell us which products and pages are useful so we can improve the comparison. They are never used to advertise to you.
Note: we do not currently run any analytics tool, so today "Accept all" and "Essential only" behave identically. We would update this page before that changed.
Retailer cookies
When you click through to a retailer, that retailer will usually set its own cookies — typically to credit us with the referral. Those cookies are set by them, on their site, under their policy. We cannot see or control them. See our terms for how we are paid.
Changing your mind
Clear your browser storage for this site and the banner will reappear, letting you choose again. You can also block cookies entirely in your browser settings; the site will still work, but you will not be able to sign in.
