Anal Range

Compare prices across UK shops, from £1.99.

Anal toys are the one category where the specification genuinely matters more than the brand. A flared base is not a design flourish — it is the feature that makes a toy safe to use, and anything going near the anus needs one.

Everything below is grouped by what it does rather than how it is marketed, with live prices from the UK retailers stocking it. Diameter and insertable length are listed on each product page: read them before you buy.

Anal Range: how to choose

The flared base is not optional

The rectum has no natural stopping point, and anything without a flared base or retrieval loop can travel far enough to need a hospital to remove it. This is the single rule that has no exceptions. Every product in this section has a base; if you shop elsewhere, check.

Start smaller than you think

Almost everyone buys too big first time. Look at the diameter rather than the length — girth is what you feel, and what you have to work up to. Around 2.5–3cm is a realistic starting point for most people; a kit that steps up in sizes is better value than replacing a single plug you have outgrown.

Lubricant, and more of it than you expect

The anus does not self-lubricate. This is not a preference, it is a requirement. A thicker anal lubricant lasts longer than standard water-based. Use silicone-based only with non-silicone toys, and remember that oil destroys latex condoms.

What the sections are for

  • Butt plugs — stay in place, worn rather than moved. The usual starting point.
  • Anal beads — graduated spheres, felt on the way out as much as in.
  • Prostate massagers — angled to reach the prostate; shaped for a purpose, not just a smaller plug.
  • Probes and tunnels — slim insertion, and hollow designs for the experienced.
  • Kits — stepped sizes; the cheapest way to find your size.

Cleaning matters more here

Wash thoroughly before and after, every time, and keep anal toys separate from anything used vaginally unless it has been properly cleaned in between. Non-porous silicone, glass or steel is much easier to get genuinely clean than jelly or PVC — worth the extra in this category in particular.
